  • This company resistor are adopted for the manufacture of domestic production of electric locomotive EF 52 types. Since then、 It becomes the appointed maker of the resistor for new cars of an electric locomotive of Japanese National Railways and a trains.

  • The Yao factory, achieves 660 days without any disaster continuously. And from then each factory achieves it and renews record.
  • Order was placed with 5 Rolling Stocks companies, for Shinkansen experimental production train (2 cars of A type and 4 cars of B type)
  • Nishinari line started running between Nishi-kujo - Kansailine Tennoji as Osaka-Loop Line.
  • Steam locomotives disappear from Tokaido Sanyo main line. The Sanyo all lines electrification started.
1962  
  • Hokuriku tunnel opened to traffic.
  • Shinkansen trial manufactured trains 1001 and 1002 started ground trial runs.
1963 May6
  • The Osaka office moves to 1-18 Saiwai , Naniwa Ward, Osaka from the 15-Fukumachi, Taisho-ku, Osaka, the head office factory changed to Tsuru-machi factory.

1964 Octomber
